Right now with the way the auto industry is down it is not very positive.

  • Police and procedures are outdated but are being updated in the department now. Moral is always a struggle because the market is always up and down.

What I like about the company

Again, if you put in the effort you can work your way up. Compensation is comparable to other auto finance company's.

The lack of consistency within the management staff.

Suggestions for improvement

  • I would fire my boss, give my head mechanics major raises, I would completely remodel the break room, and I would extend showroom hours by 2 hours on weekdays and also keep the showroom open on the weekends as well, which would greatly increase sales.

What I like about the company

I have so many positive memories with my time with Tynan's Nissan. They really do treat their employees like family. I've received many great employee benefits as well, ones that you probably wouldn't find working for other car dealerships. I get great incentives and bonuses that are better than other car dealerships offer. I have learned many good skills working for Tynan's.

What I dislike about the company

I feel like my manager is always slacking off and doesn't do nearly as hard of work as other employees who are paid less. He also comes into work late often, and doesn't set a good example for our newer hires. That is really the only thing that I dislike about working for Tynan's.

Company Culture

GSM is beyond unprofessional to the point that his antics trickle over to customer interactions & not just employee interactions. He is rude, arrogant, & provides disrespectful/inappropriate customer service! Very toxic environment, which can be seen by the customers on a daily basis as well. Also, extremely limited opportunity with squalor pay! Definitely not worth the time, aggravation, & low compensation that comes along with it! This place has an awful reputation, treats customers poorly & rips them off & is barely functioning as a business at this point! Also, you will get a better deal & better treatment from just about any other dealership, so why put yourself through this aggravation! My prediction is that they will be closed down complete within the next 2 years because they will not be able to sustain their business.

You have to, because they certainly aren’t helping you with anything.
