Good in that it is initially friendly and casual, but if you don't fit in or not one of the chosen few then the culture is cold.
Support from management
Depends on who is in charge and who needs the support.
Patient care teams work very well for the most part. Executive team can be out of touch with people on the front line. They get their information from a few and react from there.
Big division between leadership, doctors, managers and staff. Never know what's going on.
Attitude towards older colleagues
No detection that there is any bias.
Office / Work Environment
Using cameras for the primary use to observe employees including managers sets the tone of mistrust, micro-management and 'big-brother" is watching.
Expectation is more than 40hrs and operations are such that rarely is there an 8hr day.
Reviews via internet and retention rate are not good.
Need help--very few automated doors and they are extremely heavy!
Very rote, busy work, paper pushing. Didn't match job description.
Inclusive / Diverse
Very, very, very little diversity.
Suggestions for improvement
- Need to work on developing more processes based on assessment and data vs history and personal preference. Utilize staff more appropriately and stop micro management approach.
What I like about the company
Aesthetically pleasing. Patient centered. Can be very warm and welcoming. Those who are liked are very well liked. Management does attempt to show employees they are valued by having events. Executives are very progressive.
What I dislike about the company
Employees are not treated equally. Micromanagement by executive team. Lack of organizational structure. Employees who are liked by management demonstrate entitlement and management allows it.
