Support from management
"Training" consisted of walking me through one account review. The yelling started after that.
My co-worker did try to help me learn my job.
Office / Work Environment
The office was nice, beautiful marble floors, polished wood, desirable location.
I needed time off twice and it was not a problem.
My job was temp work. My position was terminated when Northern Trust decided to hire a company to review the accounts rather than have two individuals do the work.
Account information could be safer. We were printing out information with claimants names, addresses, bank account numbers, and keeping stacks of paper around the office. They had no way to know whether anyone was slipping a couple pieces of paper into their purse before going home.
The work was too challenging. The manual we were using to review accounts was outdated, with a lot of the changes not written down. It was a problem.
Suggestions for improvement
- Train better, safeguard client information better.
What I like about the company
It could have been a good life, if I had been properly trained and was able to keep my job.
What I dislike about the company
It didn't work.
