What I like

We all work together very well. We all provide patient care in an emergency setting and crap hits the fan and we do really well together. It's my favorite part of the job.

What I dislike

We are financially in the hole. We are close to going bankrupt. We need to get our financial issues solved so we can remain a rural community hospital

Suggestions for improvement

Improving our financial situation, but also thinking of the employees and being able to pay them well. People don't want to stay when the pay isn't good, and the cost of living is high.

Care more about your employees and train management on how to respect their employees and how to talk to them

What I like

We work together very well as a team. When we get crazy busy and have too much going on to manage we all help each other out the best we can.

What I dislike

The pay is terrible. We dont get paid very much and it isnt nearly enough compared to what we do.

Suggestions for improvement

Increasing the pay and making the benefits better. The health care is expensive and covers the bare minimum.

What I like

I like that I've been able to learn and grow as an individual and I feel like I make a difference here

What I dislike

Resources can be stretched too thin sometimes and people can be overworked

Suggestions for improvement

I would ensure that support functions are properly staff because they can often be ignored

What I like

I've always had lovely managers and great educational support. Compensation is now comparable to the local market. Amazing health benefits,

What I dislike

Not the best work/life balance for working mothers and not great for nurses with seniority.

Suggestions for improvement

Better maternity leave. As is we aren't allowed to take even one sick day for an entire year after maternity leave
