What employees say

Employees like

I have met some really incredible people that are really making a difference in healthcare. I have been able to network within the company and been able to reach out to fellow coworkers that work in different areas within the hospital system. I have learned some invaluable lessons through my hands on work that I could not have gained elsewhere.
I have grown a lot as a person through my work with OhioHealth. I have met some incredibly talented people that genuinely care for our community and go above and beyond every single day to care for the sick and wounded. I have learned so much about how to approach patients especially high risk patients.
I have enjoyed learning about the healthcare field from one of the country’s top level 1 trauma centers. Everyone is so helpful and your coworkers want to see you succeed. I feel the work we do is so important and I always leave feeling like I have really made an impact on the community.
I have learned a lot of invaluable lessons through my hands on experiences in the largest healthcare network in central Ohio. I have made amazing contacts that have allowed me to learn so much about the field and the avenues available to me.
I have met a lot of really incredible people that work tirelessly to save lives and improve the community we serve. They inspire me to become the best patient advocate I can possibly be and to always maintain safety over everything.

Employees don't like

Right now. I’d only say hazardous pay but they are doing a great job of giving us pandemic pay :)
I wish they would do a little better with handling military members time off request for drill.
More flexibility built into the schedule and for oversight at the beginning of the residency
I wish there were more growth opportunities and promotions for existing employees!
I really don't have anything to add to this. I'm very happy with where I'm at

Suggestions for improvement

Parking for employees could be improved. Management listening to and following through in a timely manner about employees having immoral relationships with patients.
I would give employees better increases and raises more often. I would get feedback from employees having group meetings Better benefits such as sick time
Allow for more remote working options. Not all of my work requires me to be on site every single day. Continue to improve work/life balance
I think the culture is very great here but overall open communication between management and associates could be improved.
Management does not treat employees as equals and they do not give raises based on performance or length of employment.
