Moral is low due to staffing, lack of equipment, having to work long hours, and low pay.
Support from management
Not currently the case.
Some are better at this then others, we tend to have the mentality of “ if you want it done right, do it yourself” this does cause problems though.
Freedom to work independently
We have been conditioned to work independently to survive the day
There are employees who tend to not communicate effectively. Sometimes causing employees to do the work more than needed.
I know men get paid more then women.
Attitude towards older colleagues
There are people in manager positions who do not treat all ages staff equally.
There are areas but I feel it’s a completion of “ who you know or are favorites “ to get those roles.
Overall compensation for your work
For the knowledge my position has, we are very under compensated.
Office / Work Environment
OSU is going through a ton of expansions and remolding
We could do so much more in this area
Some days are tougher then others. Depends on staffing
I am proud of where I work, but they could pay us better like many other hospitals in the area.
This area is well maintained
They could do better
Again due to lack of resources and staffing
Inclusive / Diverse
Upper management will listen to ideas and opinions of staff members but I feel that’s where it stops.
Suggestions for improvement
- Parking, staffing, pay, all need to be addressed. The lack of equipment needs to be addressed.
What I like about the company
They are growing and creating more jobs.
What I dislike about the company
Upper management needs to listen to their clinical people much more.
