Due to high volume of trucks and freight, stockrooms are over filled, electrical panels and emergency exits and walkways obstructed, floors always a mess with high trip hazards, equipment second hand: never new, damaged barley working
Suggestions for improvement
- Higher pay, manager pay is less than most companies team leader's pay, less freight; store is over whelmed with merchandise making it difficult to shop (studies show that people when overwhelmed will most likely leave the store than shop) , have schedules available at the LEAST a week out; currently comes out a few days BEFORE it takes effect do this by giving your stores the weeks allotted payroll out a week earlier than a few days before taking effect; difficult to make life plans. Allow more hours; barley have enough to run the store and on truck days hours are eaten up to off load the truck since we have no crew specifically for that. Allow better equipment to be ordered for the store, allow costs to be used for store improvements, any stores that the floor tile was removed either retile it or remove the horrible grey paint used to paint the concrete: it just peels off making the floor and store look bad. Stop using multiple SKUs and prices for the same items: makes it difficult for shoppers to shop when they see two or more prices for the same item and makes horrible inventory counts when they're counted under one SKU because they are the same item making the counts off for the other SKU numbers. Get rid of the ridiculous stripping method; eats up shelf space having to spread one item through multiple shelves (no other stores use this method) stop ordering things or assure items are sent to areas they can be used; don't send snow items to locations that hardly see snow. We get a lot of damaged goods either broken or moldy, coming this way from the locations they are purchased from; check your items out more carefully and stop buying out dated merchandise that customers will not buy because there is no use for it: waste of company money. Allow your employees to purchase sale items the day they go on sale: we are customers too.
