Suggestions for improvement
- Expand cubicles to two per employee where there are clusters of overcrowding next to entire areas unused. Discourage inappropriate and low-class language for those stationed near customer areas. Instate and enforce confidentiality agreements for those with access to sensitive information, with appropriate penalties for infraction.
What I like about the company
If you are a hard worker you are treated well. You are given the tools to do your job and, if you prove yourself, can climb the ladder - TO A POINT. As long as you do your job well and know your stuff, management allows you to control your job to a large degree. No micromanagement unless you need it. Close to the highway. For the economically depressed area, decent salary. Lots of goodies available in breakroom when they were close to expiry. Employees are looked at by management individually and treated according to their own merits. Open-door policy. Approachable management. Attendance bonus. Sometimes slow and requiring tenacity, management did make good on everything promised during interview, and more.
