How does the application process work, which questions are usually asked?

Asked on May 27, 2018 by the kununity

Answer #1 from May 27, 2018 by a current employee

I cannot comment on specific questions. An interested candidate can go to the UHG website and click on the careers section. There is quite a bit of information located here regarding all of the different positions, company size, growth, culture, etc... One the candidate finds a position they are interested in, they apply online. The application process is different for each department, manager, and position however during the initial application there are often multiple choice and skill-based tests to anser. Then an initial screening call from recruiting followed by a virtual interview (you record yourself on camera answering a series of questions), then a phone interview with the hiring manager, and then possibly a final interview with a group of manager/supervisors/employees that are in your department.

How long do employees stay on average at the company?

Asked on May 27, 2018 by the kununity

Answer #1 from May 27, 2018 by a current employee

All depends on the position. Lower levels are typically pretty fast revolving due to the difficulty, stress, and generally a younger population not looking for a career yet. As you work through supervisory and skill-based positions, it is not uncommon to e working with others that have been there 20+ years. Many within that level have been with the company 5-10 years at that point.
