Uncomfortable work environment. Management did not promote a positive learning experience.
Support from management
Freedom to work independently
Work not fairly distributed.
Employees were expected to do marketing and advertising for the company, not explained during the interview process.
Women have the same opportunities but assistants are not given respect and autonomy in their profession.
Attitude towards older colleagues
No senior workers were hired and experienced employees were not valued and were terminated.
No opportunity for advancement.
Overall compensation for your work
Office / Work Environment
Clinic was being remodeled during training and had to be set up and organized by new employees, not in the job description.
Flexible with days off needed most of the time.
There was no opportunity for this to take place.
The job was not stable due to low patient census and experienced employees were terminated, I feel, because the company could not afford to pay these employees.
There were not accessible rooms for treatment in the clinic.
Felt overwhelmed by what was eexpected to be completed on the job, techniques were not well developed and changed throughout the course of training.
Inclusive / Diverse
Suggestions for improvement
- The company needs to have a proper and organized training program and a positive and encouraging learning environment for therapists. Also, people's experience and education need to be respected and valued.
What I like about the company
They have an idea of providing some continuing education and paying for additional courses.
What I dislike about the company
As an employer they did not provide an adequate or organized training program for new employees. It was very mediocre and the opportunity to succeed in the position was not provided.
