Suggestions for improvement
- Hold leadership just as accountable for communicating respectful, as each of us is held to it by our immediate management.
What I like about the company
I enjoy that most co-workers are friendly and with out judgment, save for one department.
What I dislike about the company
There is very little opportunity for professional growth within ones classification and relatively no opportunity to promote in place. As a result, very talented people with history leave. In addition, one particular department has an "elitist" attitude and will annihilate another person or "punish" them if they are treated as peers. This department also personalizes when another co-worker may not agree with their point of view. While this department claims to provide "recommendations only" the reality is that unless you do it exactly there way, you will experience perpetual review of information/data. While the OSHPD mantra is, "One OSHPD working together" it is not, especially when one department is allowed to treat anyone else with disrespect, either in the form of accusations and nasty communication.
