During my employment at Ovenly Bakery i discovered during my interview that there was a revolving door of employees being hired then fired. There is a personal relationship between the wholesale manager and the owners which the wholesale manager abused regarding employees. The wholesale manager was a bully in the purest sense and showed favor to employees that he got along with. Employees that he did not approve were terminated on a whim. There was no proper training in place for new hires and morale was low. The owners offered authoritative leadership and spoke to certain staff members in a disrespectful manner (I witnessed one baker burst into tears after conversing with them). Also, the owner has a creative way of paying the salaried workers. They were only paid on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. If there was a 5th week during certain months they would not be paid for those days. This happened to me personally.
