Management rarely has positive feed back. Have created a culture "of do more with less"
Support from management
Too many chiefs. Results in indecisive direction and decisions
Most employees are content with passing the buck to someone to resolve, fix correct. In other words not taking ownership of their work.
Freedom to work independently
Reduce the work force. Redistributed workload, did not compensate for extra areas of responsibility.
Find out more information from water cooler gossip.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Most employees have 20 years in.
Poor training. No desktop policy and procedures guidelines. General attitude bits not that hard figure it out .
Overall compensation for your work
Union employees compensated well. Nonunion employees will see a 2-3% increase every 3 years. Non union employees never compensated when assigned additional tasks. Always paid on time. Health benefits are good. Low cost to employee. Company paid last 2/3 of deductible.
Office / Work Environment
Poor building interior needs a lot of TLC. Computers run slow. Crash frequently
Follows epa rules and regulations.
Generous vacation and sick time. No restrictions on taking time off.
Has a good reputation in the industry. In comparison to what else is out there in this economy not to bad
very little risk of job loss. Most employees have 20 plus years.
Personal satisfaction of task completion. However no positive feed back from management.
Inclusive / Diverse
It's a good old boys club.
