Very poor. Employees have not had raises in 3 years or funding of 493(b). This year, after laying off over 100 staff, they are given 2% increases. Nepotism is the name of the game. Not what you know but who likes you.
Support from management
Executive management is out of touch with line staff.
Too many chiefs. You get one answer from one person and something different from another
Attitude towards older colleagues
In my age group ( over 60) they l laid off all of us. People that had worked there for over 30 years. I was there was 20 as a director. All of my reviews were outstanding but that didn't matter to them. It's been 9 months and I still don't have a job thanks to them. There were 2 ladies in their 70's who had been there 20 and 25 years and let them go. Heartless.
They have a 55% turnover rate. They ran into trouble with the Los County and had to re-pay they nearly $3 million cause us to be let go. The CFO, CEO and President make over $300,000 a year but those of us making around $70,000 lose are jobs.
Inclusive / Diverse
Not are all. They pay lip service to it.
Suggestions for improvement
- Remove the entire executive management and start over
What I like about the company
Nothing. I enjoyed the line staff and clients that I worked with but Executive management are all over paid and disorganized.
What I dislike about the company
Everything. In 5 more years I had hope to retire from this job. Now, because I'm not working I have to tap into my retirement to live. It hard for someone 61 to find a job.
