The morale is horrible in the Costa Mesa office. No support from management unless you were brought in by her from former companies. She let many good people go to make room for her underqualified people
Support from management
We were told different answers by different managers. We could even have different answers to the same questions on different days. Knowledge by managers wasn't what it should be
We were told no over time but at the last minute were asked to stay to work.
The let me go after over 7 years employment because of low production. Never given any reprimands. Work slowed down but site mgr brought in 5 new funders and let 5 experienced ones go. We were told we had to do 6 per day but volume only supported maybe 3 per day.
Suggestions for improvement
- If production is the priority, then funders shouldn't be responsible to check account managers and underwriters for accuracy. Post closing department should just correct errors so it doesn't take up time out of production
What I like about the company
Their paid time off is generous
What I dislike about the company
That those people in CA are a second thought. TX is the corporate office and they are the priority
