Suggestions for improvement
- Remove upper management and clean house. Restructure. Check on your hiring practices to ensure job postings aren't being watered down to allow children who barely finished high school to make up 75% of your workforce. Average employee has little to no higher education and/or relevant work experience which is apparent in the subpar work ethic and output.
What I like about the company
What I dislike about the company
Rampant nepotism. Due to nepotism there's a very high population of wildly underqualified individuals; their inability to perform job function becomes the responsibility of competent coworkers to absorb their workload. Little room for advancement. Management unqualified and behind the times; unwilling to adapt approach to changing tides. Poor overall morale.
Poor compensation. Major decisions for contractors living on the installation are made by individuals living CONUS who have never lived on the island and don't understand the hardships or unique work environment. Transportation to and from island is not guaranteed, making doctor appointments and visits with loved ones extremely difficult.
