- Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station21.Sep 2016
The site has the appearance of a solid culture of inclusiveness and diversity.
Support from management
No Management is poor at assisting front line employees
Employee led teams are the norm because management does not like to get involved
Freedom to work independently
No, no one is independent in the plant. Except for Directors and above
Communication is lacking and feedback form the frontline to exec management is poor at best. The VP`s allow total flexibility for their directors to manage their own departments. So communication is filtered down junk
Office / Work Environment
The environment is hostile and good ol boy
They do not care about their front line employees lives or families. They work long hours forced time to work and promote yes people to leadership and not experienced people.
The work is easy. the growth potential is slow
Inclusive / Diverse
They are not Diverse out of 15 directors 2 are minorities or vets.
Suggestions for improvement
- Read the posters you put up and practice what you preach.
What I like about the company
They are a solid company that supports the western grid
What I dislike about the company
They are a good ol boy organization with a distaste for Veterans and experienced people
