Panera sticks with identity and lets customers enjoy a quality meal with the timing of fast food.
During my year with the company, managment was increasingly strict and set unrealistic goals for employees. They demanded perfection at every point, and when not reached would disipline you in front of other employees and customers. There was no encouragment to do better but a demand to do the impossible, wanting no mistakes and inspiring fear in employees. Managment would even go so far as to restrict you from enjoying your job by setting rules that you can only discuss work and must but constantly working. Additionally, managment would go back on their word and consistently change their rules of store policies, confusing employees and causing stress.
