The way my boss give annual raises. Company states 2%. If more than 2%, the manager needs to submit the for more. Some on our team members get 1 or 1 1/2 percent so another team members can get over 2% without the boss having to ask. This happens for years.
It has been a stable job with growth and the health insurance can't be beat
The amount of overhead that is taken from awarded research funds is absurd. Easily the highest percentage cut in the nation and it needs to be lowered or else world-class researchers will be done coming to MGH to perform their studies.
