Suggestions for improvement
- With any professional workplace I know that not everyone will get along. While working at the Los Angeles property, there were many instances and long periods of time when the environment was not very pleasant to work in because of workplace "drama" and disagreements. As adults, we attempted to handle the issues ourselves, but there were many times when these same issues effected everyone's ability to work smoothly and effectively. Management did not do much to resolve these issues and I think that they could do a better job with mediating.
What I like about the company
Working at Peak Campus, I made lifelong friends. Being a leasing consultant allowed for me to develop professional skills, while also engaging with a variety of people on the daily basis. I worked in Los Angeles, directly across the street from University of Southern California (USC). This location gave me access to all USC events and students, which was such a fun and lively experience! Management worked with my personal schedule, so I did not have to sacrifice many things outside of work that are equally as important to me. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Peak Campus and I would recommend this company to many others.
What I dislike about the company
The only constructive feedback for Peak Campus, specifically the Los Angeles property, is that they should do more employee bonding/team-building events. The eighteen months that I worked there, we only had one employee event.
