Suggestions for improvement
- Financial circumstances and profitability limit desirable changes such as daily employee Concessions service: Part-time health insurance benefits. These are only available to full-time (salaried) workers. Unpaid Sick days/leave is much needed. Many (part-time and seasonal) employees must currently work schedules regardless of illness, unless they obtain a substitute worker to cover their shift. Having at the availability of at least a few (optional) days a year could help prevent illness widespread department contamination by sick employees.
- The City of Peoria administration needs to be far more actively invested in enhancing and facilitating physical improvements, not only to maintain it. But, to keep it competitive against local and national competition. Such responsibility for the capital improvements and overall maintenance would allow the facility's management to concentrate it's full resources upon operations, including securing larger and more events.
