Support from management
Leadership was so disconnected that communication was next to impossible.
Other store managers were more than happy to help everyone in the area.
Freedom to work independently
Had to send pictures of displays and signage for approval.
Information was given after the fact. Very reactive not proactive.
Sexual preference was more of an issue than gender equality.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Older workers do not support the company's image.
There is no succession plan, education, or additional training for store managers at all.
Overall compensation for your work
Greatly below the same position with similar volume at other companies.
Huge amounts of trash generated on a daily basis. The majority could have been recycled however there was no such option available.
Company above all else. No consideration of personal time or normal business hours.
At first it was fine, however the company shifted focus to a very specific demographic.
Jobs were lost and stores closed within our company. I did not feel secure.
Very tight aisles and overstocked floors and stockrooms made it impossible to employ anyone with disabilities.
Helping guests solve problems and feel great about themselves was very rewarding.
Inclusive / Diverse
They pride themselves on racial diversity however they are very closed to ideas and opinions.
