I gained employment there via a temp company, and I worked diligently and faithfully for 7 months as a part-time employee. I was never late, never sick, never missed a day and received kudos from co-workers and supervisory staff. I even agreed to do physically strenuous labor in addition to my regular Courier duties. I was offered an advancement position that wasn't practical for me to accept but I still worked in my original position. Then at the end of a work week, i was notified by my temp service that my position was being eliminated due to the Sequestration budget cuts. That seemed odd that the company couldn't afford to pay $200.00 a week for a vital position such as Courier. They could have told me to my face at least.
Suggestions for improvement
