My immediate supervisor was new to her position. She worked in healthcare he had not worked in hi. A lot of misleading or just wrong information was being disseminated to myself and the staff. She was not a supportive person for me here
Suggestions for improvement
- ds to train their billing and follow-up staff so that they have a better understanding of what to do and how to follow the rules. Compliance is not a big thing with the company. They do have a trainer director with supportive staff the problem is when you are completing an orientation with a new employee with no prior billing or follow-up history there is a problem. When these people get tired and frustrated over not knowing exactly what to do they leave or they are fired and their attempt to collect unemployment benefits is blocked. During the training they use an orientation manual. Once the training is completed that person is put to work at a desk until to start. Once these employees figure out that they were not trained properly and are suddenly terminated the company blocks their access to unemployment by saying that they were trained properly. They present them with a copy of the manual that they that was used to train them.
- Stop hiring all of your family members and in-laws. These people want job yet but I think they're competency level should be at that which is required for the completion of the duties or functions of the job.
