Essentially focused on a few top individuals rather than Piper name.
Support from management
Only so much that can be done by senior leadership. Too many resources are spent on sustaining a couple of egos to address real issues.
If entering at entry level and can survive a RIF or two, there can be some upward mobility to the well-connected. If already managerial, there is little beyond.
Overall compensation for your work
Well paid by normal considerations but level of work requirements reduces per hour basis considerably.
No end of work that could - and needs to be - done. Largely, you choose how much grief you can sustain from work and try to fit in a little Life around it.
Suggestions for improvement
- Not much that can be done with the constraints imposed by the corporate owner. It is just a situation you survive for a long as you can.
What I like about the company
There are a handful of passionate people who try very hard. The legacy of the company can be meaningful.
What I dislike about the company
There are a lot of people on the bus for the ride.
