Suggestions for improvement
- Hire in people who know what they are doing and quit having the front desk receptionist do payroll! HR needs to be able to discuss HR with the employees, give the standard vacation, sick days, personal days without accruing points for each absence-a person can not know two weeks in advance they are going to be sick so can not give the requested 2 week notice.
I like about the employer
it was clean
I dislike about the employer
had to wait three to four weeks for overtime pay IF I worked overtime. Small company so if machines went down-no work no vacation, no personal leave, no sick days with points for anytime missed. Had issues getting paid for hours worked on a regular basis. was owed 18 hours got paid for two, worked 8 hours got paid .32 cents (yeah that's right .32 cents for 8 hours work-still have the check if anyone wants to see it because it would cost more to cash the check than not!!!!), no explanation of employee benefits such as health insurance, 401K, etc. lack of communication-based on need to know and packagers don't need to know anything. No actions are taken for those employees who can not accept people who are different than themselves (race, nationality, sexual preferences, etc).
