Suggestions for improvement
- stop making everything about sales and start caring about your customers!
I dislike about the employer
This company is all about making sales. You have monthly sales goals to meet, if you do not meet those goals they threaten you with your job. It was a very stressful job. I started when the company was National City bank, when PNC took over it was great the first year, after that they pushed you to make more and more sales. IF you hit your goal then they would say "you need to make 150% of your goal" they do not care about their customers or employees all they care about is making money no matter who they hurt in the process. Also the only way to advance in this company is by WHO you know not WHAT you know. I would always help the managers with issues they didn't know how to fix but because I did not participate in the out of work social environment I wasn't "in the circle". When you voice your opinion on things if it is not what they want to hear they look down on you. I left this company after 9 years, shortly after I left 2 of my coworkers left also one had been there 16 years the other 12 years. They left for the same reasons I did. There is no appreciation for things you do. They always pointed out the things you didn't accomplish not on the things you did. Horrible work environment in my opinion.
