Suggestions for improvement

  • I would make improvements to the staff break room. Tables and chairs are old and run down, the ice maker/water machine is broken half the time. I would also make improvements to the computer equipment so the staff could perform their job responsibilities easier.

What I like about the company

I have met a variety of people in my time at this company. Many of whom I call good friends now and can rely on, not just for work related things, but also in my personally life.

What I dislike about the company

For the amount of revenue we bring in, the overall building conditions could be improved. There is talk of construction happening, but we have yet to see anything start. I would love to see more company wide events that support building relationships across all departments.

Suggestions for improvement

  • This company should be investigated for the possibility of the need of it being closed to protect patient care.

What I like about the company

As I, ask any healthcare provider & they won’t be able to come up with even one good thing, aside from hiring an occasional real professional who cares & is competent about patient care

Company Culture

The supervisors only communicate when something is wrong no compliments or fairness or trust.

Support from management

Leadership had no infusion experience and to benefit administration, policies were changed.

Teamwork

Most of the colleagues work well. But the leadership did not for they had no idea what it's like to work in the field. Only in the office portion of it.

Freedom to work independently

The workload was NOT fairly distributed. There were not enough nurses and we would get horrendous assignments having to drive all over the valley and walking into patients homes after midnight sometimes. The patients would be upset that their medicine is late and nurses would be upset that they would have to work 18-20 hour days with no breaks.

Internal Communication

Meetings were spur of the moment and they piled so many patients on us it was hard to even attend meetings.

Overall compensation for your work

Ours is one of the lowest paying infusion companies. They didn't pay us raises then we found out they were hiring new people at a higher rate! We brought to the attention of HR they finally gave us what they were hiring the newbies at. So basically us old timers got the same amount as someone new off the street with no experience. Only because we brought it to their attention.

Office / Work Environment

The computer IT system was down a lot! It was very difficult to get info about patients when this happened. You would walk into a patient home blindly and that is NOT what you want to have cause that makes room for err.

Environmental Friendliness

Unsure as I was a field nurse

Work-Life Balance

they were always pushing us to pick up extra and even forced us to work extra work shifts cause of the lack of nurses. A few nurses had medical issues and had to call in sick. They notified HR on this. You feel as though you cannot call in.

Company Image

Employees are all unhappy there.

Job Security

Not at all stable

Workplace Safety

They don't care where they send you especially at night. We women nurses are forced to go to some very dangerous homes and neighborhoods very late at night. They do not ensure safety

Challenging Work

Not at all. We are set up to fail at this place. They give us way too many patients and each patient in turn is unhappy with our service because we have a stressed patient load.

Inclusive / Diverse

Not at all.

What I like about the company

When I first started it was a good place to work. We had more nurses and it wasn't as dangerous.

What I dislike about the company

Lack of nurses and long hard hours going in dangerous neighborhoods late at night. Pay is the lowest in the valley. Administration has no infusion experience.
