Supervisors are available most of the time, but if I was a supervisor for Market 32, I would be available for any employee as often as I can. I would and have helped train new employees and make them feel comfortable in there new job. I think my superiors should available when EVER I need them.
I feel a teamwork is important to help each other.

There are rules to follow in any job, but if a minor problem occurs , I have the ability and good judgment to fix the issue on my own and please the customer.

I have been told by long term employees, that when we were Price Chopper, the employees were taking good care of for there years of service, and tat was why they stayed. Not sure how employees feel about the New Market 32 yet
Have not been asked to advance in the year I have been there, not sure why

My wage is not bad, and I get direct deposit the day before payday, not currently eligible for any benefits .
Office / Work Environment
Price Chopper(store 181) just within the last 9 months, upgraded to the New Market 32. In my opinion, they need to upgrade the registers as well. The buttons are as old as the chain, but they do work. Old register system makes it hard to keep up with all the changes in the upgraded departments. I LOVE working there because the team is great and the environment is now very pleasant .
Socially we are all safe , Yes, about environmental and climate protection. Market 32 have a huge recycling area for bottles, cans and plastic bags
Don't know about vacation, do not qualify yet. I don't like that I get scheduled for three weeks at a time, but can only view 1 week in advance.
I have seen an improvement in the 9 months of change from Price Chopper to Market 32. I do hear other employees say that the feel more relaxed because they have consistent help now with bagging the groceries of customers. we are a real team up front, and our supervisors treat us with real respect, and encourage us to be friendly and helpful to our fellow teammates. I can only speak for the front end (cashiers) employees.
Can't say about the first question, but the second question , I think that this store chain will always need cashiers, especially hose who have great customer service skills. Without the customer for me, I have no job.
YES to both questions
I am a sales associate (Casher), and each customer is a task. They each have different needs. For instance, coupons for products purchased, questions about gift cards and or other products they couldn't find, and how to use there payment method with the new security chips that are on credit/debit , now. And YES I love assisting my customers and making them satisfied. Its not just my job, but its fulfilling to me to help my customers.
