Management will go to the mat for you if you are in the right and will support you when you need time off or break from the road. All the managers that I have worked for were always willing to help out on the phone when dealing with tough service calls even if it’s past their normal working hours.
The job of a service tech is independent work but when we do work with other techs on installs we work well together.
