Suggestions for improvement
- Better parking for all of the employees. We sometimes have to park at a hotel that is next to us, but it's something we shouldn't have to do.
The "corporate" team in Brownsville was always very supportive.
Locally, in the HTX market, teamwork was great. We relied on each other to get things done. Corporate played a big role as they always helped with out marketing and sales support efforts.
Simply put, work V's compensation did not equal out. Not at all.
Two different stories... In Brownsville the company was very socially aware as they were heavily involved in the community and were a staple in everyday life. That was not the case locally in HTX as it was impossible to get them to see things from a different point of view as they continued to target the Brownsville customer base and make a social impact that way. They really missed the boat in HTX by not targeting an economic demographic as opposed to a cultural (Hispanic) demographic.
