Nurses don't have any say about their workload. Work is not distributed fairly.
All the employees are in the dark and do not receive necessary information for their work

Long-serving colleagues are not being appreciated or supported.
Favoritism is rampant. Leadership is not supportive.

Excellent benefits, satisfactory salary. These are the only reason employees do not resign.
Office / Work Environment
Office workers are in a poorly heated or cooled environment. The roof leaks. The office is too cold in winter and too hot in summer and nothing is done by management.
Company supports fair trade but not the Home care manager.
Vacations can't be taken any time.
Employees do not talk fondly of Home care but they like the Hospital.
I don't feel my job is stable. Every year we have a fear of Home care closing or positions being eliminated.
The company has all the provisions for disabled employees.
We have training all the time.
We don't feel a sense of accomplishment because our director takes credit for everything we do.

Suggestions for improvement
- Hire a new/different Director of nursing in Home care. Someone that knows the business and is fair, does have relatives that work with her. Home care needs a new leader.
