Support from Management
Low level supervisors are generally very helpful, but their hands are completely tied by upper management, particularly the CEO .

I like about the employer
They mean full time when they say it. It's hard to get less than 38 - 39 hours. The medical benefits are excellent, the cost isn't prohibitive considering how little we make.
I dislike about the employer
Expectations change constantly. Almost daily, definitely weekly. Little backup from upper management in tough situations. Company makes decisions for local management without requesting any input. No ladder to climb. Even if promoted from "relief" or assistant manager to "Property Manager" there is no increase in compensation for the increase in responsibilities. You can earn two distinctions that would pay you a couple dollars more per hour, but those positions are rarely available. Also, the company is raising the price of rent for its on-site living managers, despite selling them as a feature to their customers.
