Overbearing management and HR looking for the smallest reasons to get rid of employees. Work loads are enormous and compensation is very low.
Support from management
Since most of management doesn’t understand the actual production jobs they cannot properly support you and since they are management they don’t care either.
Team work isn’t part of the culture, unfortunately. There are some people that try to work as a team but management likes to pit employees against each other in an attempt to drive up production.
Freedom to work independently
Sometimes you will have to work independently.
Everything is hush hush and no one communicates with one another.
Women do not get the same respect or treatment as men. It is harder for you to advance and when you do then they will try to drive you from your position or out of the company altogether.
Overall compensation for your work
Way below what is deserved.
It’s not the worst unless the schedule wasn’t properly planned, then it last minute mandatory overtime regardless of your prior commitments or plans.
Suggestions for improvement
- Pay your employees competitively, stop micromanaging, let employeee ge the proper amount of training expecting them to do their jobs with little to no help, recognize and actually reward your good employees instead of just your favorites, stop firing over small things and stop looking for the smallest things to fire people over.
What I like about the company
Some of the production workers and engineers are the most wonderful people that you could ever meet and occasionally management could be cordial.
What I dislike about the company
Lack of communication, low pay, raises are minimal due to old mistakes always coming into play even when it’s been addressed in previous reviews, no opportunities for advancement, new policies being rolled out with no notice and too many changes too quickly. Staff is overwhelmed due to hectic and unorganized schedule since managers want to push products so they can get their bonuses but continually firing good employees which strains whoever is left
