The job is not hard. The customers are rude and obnoxious. The pay is not worth it. Need more for what you endure daily.

The micromanaging. We are adults and supposedly in charge of self.

What I like

There provided excellent paid benefits with consideration for each employees personal needs and life balance. I worked under an experienced supervisor with over 10 years tenure with the company. She taught me alot that the training room simply could not have covered in specific situations. There would include us in monthly meeting to not only talk about our respective teams but the company as a whole. I felt included and an important part of the company.

What I dislike

I feel that the navigation system needs updating and better software for accommodating the amount of calls we received on a daily basis. In addition, providing more training and education on the particular products sold would benefit the customer as well as the sales experience for them. Many times there would be questions we as employees were not equipped to answer with the information provided to us. On that note, the rate at which information was updated in the ordering system should be quicker.

Suggestions for improvement

I think extending the employees lunch time would be greatly appreciated by all. Perhaps to 40 minutes instead of a 30 minute lunch. Considering we barely have time to catch our breath between calls, a little extra down time would be nice to recharge in the middle of our day.

Great culture. Many of my co-workers have been with company 15 plus years. Plenty of opportunities for growth. Open and honest leadership.

What I dislike

More perks such as flexible schedule, more work from home options. More time paid time off for 20 plus year employees.

What I like

I have worked for the company for 27 years. I have made great friends and learned alot about the industry. I would love to retire from the company but they are moving the site I work at so it will be to far to continue with the company.

What I dislike

Management expects to much of the employees and don't follow the same expectations for the position they hold

What I like

When I first started it was really great we were a family. The persinal time off is the best I have ever had working anywhere. The people are great to work with. The pay is also pretty good.

What I dislike

The lack of communication. The lack of leadership. The was the place works is to safe for no good reason just makes the job even harder on the body.

Suggestions for improvement

Get someone who has worked in the departments already so they know exactly what it feels like and can understand the job.

I have had the ability to learn from my peers and leadership throughout my time at QVC.

What I dislike

Sometimes the leadership isn't unified in decisions or strategy. I feel like we need a more clear direction on how to transform the business.

Suggestions for improvement

Update the policies so that working from home is available to all employees. Also provide options for flexible hours. We have many team members working over-seas so we shouldn't be expected to always work a standard 9-5 schedule on top of the extra hours to make those meetings with international teams.
