Support from management
There are some attorneys that are open to improvement but there are some that consider you beneath them and therefore not open to improvement suggestions
Every one interacts well with one another and generally remain very professional towards one another in difficult situations.
Freedom to work independently
This varies from unit to unit. There are some people that work significantly harder than others and work seems to go unnoticed. While others seem to get a large amount of preferential treatment and less work is accepted from them.
You must do this on your own and on your own time.
Overall compensation for your work
You must ask for this and have the unwavering support of your supervisor otherwise you might not ever see it.
Office / Work Environment
Generally acceptable with more computer issues than that of other offices.
The company will work with you for days off however compensation for maternity leave is not.
Doors are often unlocked and anyone can walk right in. If there is a concern with safety staff are not made aware
Inclusive / Diverse
Management has no sense on how each individual completes tasks or even if they actually do new ideas are heard but never implemented or actually considered.
What I like about the company
Staff and attorneys generally get along great and work well with one another
What I dislike about the company
Lack of benefits, and a real desire to improve the process as well as the work environment for the staff.
The following benefits were offered to me
