Corporate was disconnected to what customers wanted to buy. They spent so much time on Planogram which was literally moving a row of items a few rows over. Then in a couple of weeks moving them back. Customers would come in looking for things like X-Boxes and we didn't have them. And only had maybe 3 T.V. models which have the time had to be shipped from another store. Why would a customer wait or go to another store when they can go to a Best Buy have a large selection and get that day. Also once they had a employee scheduled to help our at another store that was on the other side of the county and he did not have a car.
They don't really give you training. You take a few online training on "what is a transistor" and such but they are no real help.
