Company Culture

A severe do as I tell you not what you are trained to do.

Support from management

My supervisor refused to listen to me after the passenger called her about following company (supposed driving policy) I was accused of Road Rage Driving by a passenger. I was told by my supervisor to break company policy by asking crew IF I could speed up, to get out of perceived road conflict position.

Teamwork

Follow preset road routes in case you break down.

Internal Communication

Summoned for jury duty in Texas, I filed for time of under the Jury Rule and was told it ONLY applied in Kansas.

Gender Equality

Some personnel were picked over others.

Attitude towards older colleagues

Personnel hired, before the pennies per hour upgrade were not offered uniforms nor the upgrade new hires were given.

Career Development

I was set up for failure by my 1st regional manager.

Overall compensation for your work

The company did not set up for expansion, when a new contract was secured.

Work-Life Balance

I had to take time off to get personal time.

Personnel hired before the pennies per hour upgrade were not offered uniforms nor the upgrade new hires were given.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Have CBT training IN DETAIL not just a video to cut penalized paperwork mistakes by new hires.

What I like about the company

Initially it was OK, later not so much.

What I dislike about the company

The drivers are told you are required to take calls. Then when you do you were not supported during long distance trips. IE: Thanksgiving EVE I ended up in Louisiana with a fuel card that had not been updated despite several requests to have it updated during the return run.
Their company insurance was expensive and not that good. I did better finding my own policy.

  • The pay rate needs to be improved significantly.

What I like about the company

Can be very flexible. Fun seeing new places every trip.

What I dislike about the company

I think that the pay rate should be significantly higher given the time we are on call and when we are gone.
