My shift managers were always supportive, but the general manager and operations manager weren't so much, although they did try.
Availability is a vague suggestion in their eyes.
I enjoyed that it was a place with TONS of communication during shifts and I loved knowing that it was clean and safe to eat because I knew that that was always a priority.
I did not like that the general manager would listen to one side of the story and not consider what I had to say about it. I did not like that availability was a suggestion to them. Most importantly, I absolutely HATED that they asked pick favorites. I did everything I could do right there and they still would find SOMETHING to get mad at me for, but I constantly saw the same people doing things that if I had done, I would've been fired. They would literally look for things that they wouldn't look for if someone else was in charge of it and get angry with me on days I wasn't even there. I felt completely taken advantage of at this restaurant, but the company wasn't a bad company to work for.
