Salary and benefits negotiations (direct hire positions):

We represent each candidate to our clients and assume responsibility for the salary and benefits negotiations. As your staffing partner, we ascertain available salaries before you interview, so you know up front what salary range is being considered. Prior to negotiating with the client, we consult with you on your desired salary and benefits, and then when it comes time to finalize the details, we work closely with the client to derive the best monetary package for you. Candidates appreciate having our recruiters advocate for them and handle the details involved with this step of the employment process.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Instead of letting someone go for not being able to learn fast enough, I would find them a job they would be better for. I would set higher standards for hiring managers. I would fire the lazy employees or the ones that did not care about the quality of the products they were in charge of inspecting.

What I like about the company

The pay was decent and it was a clean environment.

What I dislike about the company

I disapprove of how they choose quantity over quality. I disapprove of their choices in managers.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Having individual or anonymous feedback programs. Even though a branch is breaking records and doing amazing, it does not mean people are happy. It also does not mean that it is something that management did. My old team and I had a horrible manager that made us feel horrible but because we were self motivated and did well, he got all the credit. I suggest digging a bit deeper on employee happiness. I would help with the high turnover rate.

What I like about the company

They have amazing training. They have something called Randstad University for training. They break it down the job and work with you so well. I learned a lot. The company has a lot of openings and potential for growth. I left mainly because of office drama but I left in good terms so would be open to go back any time. It is a great community.

What I dislike about the company

Management was not something that I did not agree with. Some people were promoted because they were good as sales people but not necessarily management. My branch manager lost 5 people the same week I left because of his poor management skills. Even when we were breaking records, he would make us feel horrible for the job we did. It made it a horrible environment for a lot of us. This was not the company's fault. I do suggest sitting with the employees one by one and asking for honest feedback or anonymous feedback so they know what is really going on.

Suggestions for improvement

  • I'd like to see some incentives, for example attendance a gift card/bonus check for the first 90 days or within a certain time frame. Better bonus for referrals like instead of money have like a gift shop and earn a point system to swap points for much needed products, like water bottles, lanyards, electronic tablet (doesn't need to be top of the line) coffee mugs, gift cards and etc.

What I like about the company

Fast responses when there are positions available, flexible schedules, offers benefits starting day 1 instead of a wait period. Allows you to change positions after completing 2 days/48 hours notice to manager in charge of you're position. Places employees in you're general area, flexible shifts and hours.

What I dislike about the company

Some positions required you to have 1-3 years prior but recent experience and if it's more than that time frame or not within 6 months of recent work history theres a good chance you WILL NOT be recommended for the position. If you've worked for the company prior to the agency pacing you theres a fair chance you will be denied employment. When a position is offered you must take the position when its offered, they will not hold the position for you even if you have preplanned appointment you've already scheduled for.
