RCG is a good company to grow old with, you get what you put in...
What I like
You get what you put in. If you put in the effort and you deliver then they will support and help you with your career. RCG gives you opportunities to grow but they will not spoon feed it and you have to grab it.
This is more of a personal challenge and not on the company itself. From my perspective, they provide that freedom on how you want to handle the balance.
Support from management
Management has been very supportive and has helped with different issues and escalations.
Overall compensation for your work
The overall compensation is competitive and is based on your skill set and your negotiating skills at the beginning which is what you can hope for in a company. As you progress within the company, they reward people who deliver and I've always felt that they work with you to determine what is best for both the business and yourself which is all you could ever ask for with a company.
I personally don't think there is such a thing as job security because of the nature of consulting business but based on my experience, as long as you are delivering and able to perform what is needed, you don't have to worry about where you will be. You need to transform yourself based on what the market needs but that is on the employee and not on the employer. RCG will help with the transformation but if you don't do it yourself then nothing will happen.
RCG enabled me to evolve at my own pace and helped me progress through the ranks and with different roles and technologies. I've always felt that they are very supportive and is open to conversations on how you want to handle your career. You just need to put in the effort.
Definitely a lot of challenging work but this is something that I personally like with the company. They give challenges that seem insurmountable but if you just keep pushing, you learn and grow and able to work through it.
