Middle and Upper management under mind any decisions that are made by the local Property Manager and do not enforce policies when residents complain to the corporate office.
Support from management
There is very little support from middle or upper Management.
The trainer was extremely condescending and I have never encountered a trainer that was actually demotivating until I worked for this company.
Employees do not receive any PTO or vacation time until after they have been with the company for a year.
They replaced their whole staff at one property multiple times in just 9 months.
The apartments were rarely ready on time. Construction was delayed to the extreme.
Suggestions for improvement
- I would suggest more communication and organization within the company. There was very little support from the regional managers and very high turnover in all of the positions. There was little to no training on policies and procedures for the staff upon opening the new property. Also, to be competitive with other companies they should offer some paid vacation time at least after 90 days.
What I like about the company
The office environment was clean, comfortable and a "green" office. The office equipment was cutting edge.
What I dislike about the company
The trainer was an extremely negative and condescending person, which sets a bad tone from the beginning. Very high turnover for employees in a very short amount of time. The commissions were low in comparison to other lease-up property projects with other property management companies. Benefits were not competitive.
