Support from management
Lack of leadership because most of them run around like a headless chicken.
The only good teamwork I had was the contractor people. I said this because they were doing honest work and had no ties with any involvement with the management team like being related through family member.
Spanish is the main language in this company. If you don't speak spanish then you would be in subject of harassment from the management team.
Office / Work Environment
Machinery is rusted and it's a hazard to employees. Some people got injured due to faulty fix on a machine.
No way!!! They threaten us that business was slowing down and we would have extra days. It is sad because we work hard to keep that business going while new management team gets to have all recognition. It was better before they changed CEO, Director, Business Leader, and supervisors. Now, its like a landslide with issues.
They suffer with severe leakage, outlet sparking, monitor exploded, oven caught on fire, they shut off the metal detector because was acting up and then proceed with the work.
Yes I accomplish many things and a lot of situation was solved by my attention and it was going beyond my job title. Addressing the issue was very pointless because there was support through the company. It was more like everything is on your own and whatever you have in your pocket was the only thing to fixed things. The company address us not to bring tools and it made us work around the problem through bad management.
Suggestions for improvement
- Ready Pac was built on hard working people and now it is change. It is very hard to speak up because they only respond to people who speak spanish. The attitude have changed from now and before by giving everyone a hostile environment. There was a lot of option of upgrading their development but they eager to stay with the old fashion by cutting, packaging, and shipping. There is a lot of interest of conflicts between family members and other employees. This company lost a lot of workers and they are basically hurting themselves.
What I like about the company
I like the challenge and I was progressing. It made me happy to express my leadership skills and pass it on to the new employees or contractor.
What I dislike about the company
Disliking in how this company only focus on hiring people who have relatives working at Ready Pac, especially the management team. It can harm the company values and its view in how they appreciate people's work.
