RTTS is very big on having a holiday party every December. The party is in NYC and is not during work hours. However, the party is not really scheduled with the employees in mind and if scheduled midweek, the employees in attendance are expected to be back at work the following morning where ever their current assignment might be. The party has mandatory attendance even though employees are told it is optional.
Support from management
The heads of the company seem to work on what they want. They focus on the company's bottom line and how they can increase profits so they have larger salaries for themselves often at the expense of the lower level employees. Generally the lower your rank, the less they care and the more they blame you for anything that is negative about the engagement, even if the customer is setting unrealistic goals that the sales people never bothered to confirm.
