Very much a "Do as I say and not as I do" family owned company. Rules apply to certain individuals and what is actually enforced depends on if upper management likes you or not on that day. Favoritism and special treatment is definitely in play to be able to accomplish department goals. Scheduling is a mess as department supervisors aren't given actual dates for shipments. Magical want dates are given to schedule to that don't reflect actual ship dates at all.
Input is often ignored and then implemented later as others (management's) idea.
No set pay scale. No guarantee on bonuses (that is supposed to make up for low wages as "incentive", although individuals are penalized if someone else in their department or management messes up). No evaluation system to set achievable goals for employees or pay increases. Extremely high turn over rate of general labor and supervision. Many good people left there after doing there best on jobs and constantly being blamed for problems either ignored by or caused by management.
I don't recommend employment there. :(
Suggestions for improvement
- "Management" changes that would make the environment tolerable. Hold management accountable for their actions and stop blaming everyone else for their problems.
