Support from management
Unless you are on the favorites list management doesn’t care about you.
Attitude towards older colleagues
If they can push you out without risk of getting sued they will do they can hire a college grad that will work for half your salary.
Overall compensation for your work
The people with more experience are pushed out because they earn too much. No growth potential unless you’re on that favorites list.
Office / Work Environment
The office itself is decent.
They claim they care about their employees but when it’s time to prove it they claim they do not want to set a precedent. Eventually you’re job gets “eliminated” they want to appear like they have great work/life balance but they don’t have any policies in place to support it. It’s actually discouraged more than encouraged.
According to management employees should be happy to have a job. These were the actual words of the SVP of HR.
Suggestions for improvement
- Upper management needs to be replaced starting with the ceo
What I like about the company
The work and my co-workers.
What I dislike about the company
The blatant disrespect for the staff by upper management. Decisions made in a vacuum. Too many VPs and upper management, when looking to cut costs they always look to the workforce, the people actually doing the work. This puts unnecessary pressure on the remaining staff. Very demotivating.
