The company should take care of their employees as much as their customers. Associate life and personal life is not balanced.
Support from management
The managers support the associates they like and micromanage the others.
Associates can help other associates, but are penalized for their loss of production during that period of time.
Changes are not communicated in a timely manner.
Attitude towards older colleagues
The culture is not designed for older associates. Regions will lose all of its associates that have been there because of lack of promotions and lack of communication.
The qualified "seaaoned" associates are often skipped for promotions and newer associates that have no idea how to perform the job are often offered the position. They then have that "seasoned" associate train the new supervisor.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation is not equal for the amount of responsibilities given. Each department should be compensated based on their skillsets.
Office / Work Environment
Managers would talk about individuals performance (good or bad) on their team on the floor where other associates could hear it.
Recycling bins usually had regular trash in it. Paper is wasted from all of the print outs when we often got the same information in an email.
You can't enjoy life with your family on a vacation out of fear of not making the sales goal for the month. Sales goals should be adjusted for vacation days just like it's adjusted for associates using/abusing FMLA.
Image is is great until you actually work for the company.
There is extremely high turnover and it's mainly because of the lack of communication.
Suggestions for improvement
- Adjust monthly goals to match the amount of days worked. Excused absences such as vacation days and sickness should not be required to have the same monthly goals.
What I like about the company
I loved my manager. I would follow her anywhere.
What I dislike about the company
Sales goals are too high. Compensation is too low for all of the expected responsibilities. Communication is horrible.
