Suggestions for improvement
- Hire a qualified GM so that the owner can retire.
I like about the employer
There isn't a lot to like, other than a paycheck.
I dislike about the employer
Leadership wasn't honest about the strength of the company when interviewing, and that the company was losing money each and every month.
Employees are not empowered to make improvements, instead are told what to do and how to do it. Why hire top employees and not allow them to do their jobs to make things better?
The GM is all about making himself look good so he feels the need to make all decisions and tell everyone how to do their jobs.
The owner has gotten more involved in the business because of the GM's poor decisions and performance, however he is in over his head (and has admitted as much).
