Positive and correctional feedback were given in a supportive manner. Management tended to hire only well qualified people, so trust is generally assumed among all workers
Support from management
Realistic goals and expectations. Workers with different views on how to perform a task were listened to
Overall compensation for your work
Pay is definitely better than average, but who doesn't want more?
Office / Work Environment
Tools are always top-notch quality (no junk) and safety is a huge concern.
The company is always separating the waste and recycling what it can
Generally, the day is over by 4pm. When a after-hours call out is needed, workers keep half of the hourly rate charged to customers. Because of that, we like the night call-outs
Yes, we like the company and it's goals
Layoffs are rare, but do happen when business slows down
Since it is a construction/contractor business this really doesn't apply, but someone who cannot meet a task because of injury will be given something else to do
The company is BIG on safety. The training is good. One bit of warning: one too many safety violations (there aren't many) and you'll be looking for a new job
The work produced is excellent, but it's still just a job
Inclusive / Diverse
If a better method of performing a job without reducing the quality is brought up, they will listen.
Suggestions for improvement
- The company is great. Get some marketing people, so the few down times can be eliminated
What I like about the company
They demand a high level of quality and will help you achieve it too
What I dislike about the company
Can't think of anything significant
