What I like about the company
Some of the people working at RI are, as other reviews mentioned, very talented. Unfortunately, most of these employees are younger (or have been in the workforce a shorter period of time) and don't fully grasp how truly dysfunctional RI is. I say this as a "younger" professional who worked at RI for over a year.
What I dislike about the company
Again, as others on this page have mentioned, mostly everything. RI feels very surreal at times, with short periods of seemingly productive work, quickly followed by the realization that all upper management is in it for the $$$ and the $$$ alone. At first I thought this "selfishly being in a company just for the money and hiding the real allocations from less-senior employees" was just a stereotype that I had seen too many times in the movies; however, at RI it is unfortunately too true. Because of this, many employees felt like they were working themselves into a black hole that led nowhere. I saw this happen too many times to too many people, with only being there just over a year. This is why I left, and have thankfully, experienced a much more holistic and less stressful work/life balance since doing so. I wish I had done it sooner. I feel truly sad for the employees at RI who think this is their only option.
